visit is your ticket to exciting work placements
en Suisse et dans le monde entier
We enable vocational apprentices to undertake a work placement in another linguistic and cultural region. We organise accommodation and, thanks to our partnership with Movetia, we also provide financial support.
By crossing linguistic and cultural borders, we are combating the shortage of skilled labour and, thanks to the Rotary Clubs Switzerland / Liechtenstein programme, creating a dynamic and forward-looking world of work.

Testimonials

«Before the language course, I couldn't imagine a future in French-speaking Switzerland, but now my opinion has changed. I feel much more open to the idea of working there. I enjoyed the language course very much and would definitely recommend it.»

«It was an incredible experience and I would recommend an exchange like this to anyone. Not only did I get to know the language and culture, I also developed personally and learned to adapt to unfamiliar circumstances. During the four weeks, I experienced so much and had the time of my life.»

«Five minutes in Rwanda is half an hour.»
Financial support
The visit support is free of charge for you as an apprentice. Expenses are financed by the participating Rotary clubs as well as by grants and donations from our partners.
During your work placement, you will continue to be employed by the training company and to receive your usual salary. Thanks to the Movetia federal support programme, depending on the destination and duration of your work placement, you will receive a support contribution of between CHF 450 and several thousand francs, which you can use to finance all or part of your travel, any costs incurred by partner agencies and your stay.
Companies & sectors
The visite programme is open to apprentices from all professional sectors.
The internship must be in a different language region. For example, German speakers can complete their internship in Ticino or in French-speaking Switzerland. We also organise group internships abroad with existing partners.
Thanks to the large Rotary network, there are good contacts with companies in all parts of the country. visite will be happy to help you find a host company.
Host families / Accommodation
For the duration of your work placement, we'll organise a suitable host family for you on site. You'll get to know the language and culture even better, you'll have someone outside the company to support you if necessary during the exchange and you'll make friends for life.
If you prefer to live in a hostel or accommodation during your placement, you can of course do so at your own expense.
